The implementation of PADFA aligns with the relevant strategic orientations of IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development). It therefore shares a common vision. Regardless of the scale, agriculture is a private economic activity, a business. A business requires clear links along the value chain, from production to processing, marketing, and consumption. This is why partnerships with the private sector, whether large corporations or small family farms, remain crucial for productive and profitable agriculture.
